Through funds raised by our annual Sugarplum Sled Drive, The Sled has served thousands of New Yorkers in need. Since the pandemic - through all seasons - we have supplied food, medicine, weekly groceries, bedding, furnishings, and desperately requested emergency support within 2-3 days of notification to Public School students and their families who are temporarily housed or living below the poverty line.

In addition, The Sled is proud to be an ongoing partner with NYC's Project Open Arms and District 79 Alternative Schools and Programs, providing weekly food resources in the educational setting to students who require alternative pathways to graduation during hours when funds for school meals are unavailable.
